Angry Birds Flock To Android

With mobile gaming being as large as it is, it’s always nice to see good games being ported to a good mobile platform. As many Android phone owners out there realize, myself included, the iPhone seems to be the winning device when it comes to mobile phone gaming. We might have a few great games here and there, but for the most part we miss out on the top quality games from the big developers.

Finally some developers are stepping things up for android users. Mobile game developer Rovio has announced and released a beta of their super popular game ‘Angry Birds’ for android. Currently somewhat limited while in beta, the android version is up to par with it’s iOS counterpart. All that is really missing from the beta are some levels. While you are missing a good portion of the game while it is in beta, there is one large benefit. While it is in it’s testing phase it is available in the android market place for the grand old price of free! Just a word of warning though, since it is a beta version, you should expect there to be some bugs while the game is being brought to full function.

There doesn’t seem to be any real word on when the game will get its full release, and whether or not the price point will be the same as the iOS version, but being extremely fun, and free during the beta, this game is definitely worth checking out.
