Game Militia is a video game community, that was founded in 2004 by Brent Capello and Chelsea Petersen. It’s original concept was that of a points-oriented community, in which users could complete missions for points, which could then be redeemed for prizes. The site proved to be an early success, even making an appearance on the first showing of the Spike TV Video Game Awards. After time passed, the community shrank until only the loyalists remained. Those of us who knew the merit that Game Militia possessed, and had made such good friends. In 2007, Game Militia was acquired and then closed down due to rising upkeep costs. in 2009 Game Militia was purchased back by the initial founders.
Now, the users have taken over. Game Militia is being revolutionized, and brought into the modern age of the internet at full force. However, GM remains a video game community fiercely dedicated to its loyal userbase. We’re a Video Game Blog proud to bring you the latest news in the world of video games.
